How it started
In 1984 after returning to Australia, Lonnie was told by his peers and associates that historians did not take our original Australian Rock’n’Roll era seriously. They said some were not old enough to know or were even in Australia at the time, so only told their story from their own experiences. As Lonnie was an IT professional and website builder, he set about creating a website called rootsofaussierock.com so the correct information could be available to anyone who wanted to know about that early era.

Lonnie and his wife Suzanne gave his peers a series of many questions about their life and career and their answers have become the content of this site. This is exactly how they saw it.
