Welcome to the Roots of Aussie Rock, an overview of the History of Australian Rock'n'Roll.
It starts around 1956 and finishes in the mid 60's when some structure had been achieved and management started to control the industry.
Previously, it had been totally motivated by emotions and a pure love of the then 'new' music. Read all about our first stars.
They were all in or just over their teens at the time and were in love with the music.
